The Devil Wears Etsy: Check, Please!

The Devil Wears Etsy

And when I say check , I'm talking classic checkered patterns and the houndstooth check.
For the last few years, checkered patterns have been making their way back into collections and storefronts. In its most traditional form, the checks were woven in black and white, but in today's fashions you'll find checks popping up in a variety of colors.

There is something hip and cool about a the check---perhaps because the bold patterns allows us to reminisce back to the 1960's Twiggy-hip, and that also in smaller doses, it is very sophisticated. So whether you pair it with a bold color, such as pink or red, don't write it off...because the check still has it. Today on The Devil Wears Etsy, get a load of these checks.

Check, Please!

Ah ha, you are right! A beautiful check and a beautiful statement. Hmmm, have some really nice wool in this check in the stash, time to get it out and create something for fall. Must plan ahead. If I start now it ought to be done by then.

I LOVE black and white check - it's classy and goes with bold colors. Red is my favorite contrast color.

I am a long-time fan of checks and houndstooth. There's something so timeless about it. I have a houndstooth bag from about four or five years ago, and I love that I could still wear it now, and it would be OK. Great post!

I found myself cracking into a smile at the sight of that cube brooch.
