The Devil Wears Etsy:

Brick House Reds

After what feels like a very loooooooong holiday hiatus, I'm FINALLY ready to get things started back up again for 2009. My regular "Friday Findings" column that is featured weekly on Posh Mama Online Magazine will be back on Friday, January 16.

With the crazy schedule and pace I've been keeping the last few weeks, I've found myself stuck in traffic jams from Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as at the back of some mighty long lines in the airports. Needless to say....all that commotion has me seeing red...

But, rather than let this unusually busy travel schedule get me all worked up and upset, I like to keep things real and put the modern convenience of traveling into a healthy perspective. One of my methods for making traffic jams and airport crowds seem less intense is listening to disco. It's pretty hard to feel down when you're listening to disco. Anyway, I just finished a new playlist for my iPod and listened to it on my way back from San Francisco. So, it's no wonder I woke up singing "Brick House" by the Commodores...

With that in mind, I woke up and decided to "shake it down" to The Devil Wears Etsy group pool on Flickr to check out some the "mighty mighty" fine accessories being created by the taleted sellers at the online marketplace, Etsy. Here's what I found...brick house reds...

Wow! this absolutely makes my day. Not only have you selected a Scrappy Jane Mega Flower for this post, she is rubbing shoulders in the fashion world with two designers I adore: BrownBunnyIris and delightworthyn. Plus you have introduced me to jovani and jodifrench. What a great day.

Hugs,
Jane

Susan I'm so delighted to see cool hats like glorioushats and janavi's creations. Don't get stressed out by LA's traffic. I know it's tough! But it's so cool! My favorite city!
