The Devil Wears Etsy:
Bites of Brown

Whether its rich like mahoganhy, dark like chocolate, or spicy like nutmeg, the earth-toned range of the color brown represents stability and abundance. It communicates strength, stability, and qualities of grounded-ness.

The color brown also evokes warmth and comfort (think morning coffee, chocolate chip cookies, and my personal fave--yummy brownies). Brown also strikes a chord with the spirit of dependability (for you Etsians who do shipping, think reliable...like UPS deliveries).

Today, I thought I'd take another hearty bite out of the fashion feast being served up at the online marketplace, Etsy. So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy these rich and delicious handmade treats from my Flickr group photo pool at The Devil Wears Etsy.

That's all the time we have today, so I hope you'll join us next week for another post. If you like what you see on The Devil Wears Etsy, be sure to leave a comment in today's post!

What a great article. No wonder I like brown. You explained it so well- rich abundant..... love the wording. Plus such fabulous indie items here. The necklace is awesome. The ruffled shirt so beautiful.

You make great finds and present them so beautifully. Am truly enjoying your blog. Thanks so much.
