The Devil Wears Etsy: Little Black Dress

Little Black Dress.

  • The phrase "little black dress" says it all. It is a fashion classic and has come to be regarded as the epitome of feminine style and elegance. The first "little black dress" was revealed in 1926 by Coco Chanel and in November of the same year, French Vogue dubbed her little black dress as -- the uniform of the modern woman.
Still conjuring ideas of elegance more than 80 years later, "the little black dress" has become a true fashion staple. With the holidays just around the bend, this week's The Devil Wears Etsy column is taking its cue from a little black dress from a vintage seller. And, I'm dressing it up with some fabulous coordinating vintage and handmade accessories from the talented sellers at the online marketplace, Etsy.

Do you have a little black dress or accessory that you love? Leave a comment and let me know your favorite little black item!!!! And, if you're an Etsy seller and would like to know how items are selected for The Devils Wears Etsy, visit this post.

I just love this dress on Etsy. This shop - myblackdress - will custom design your dress to fit your size! I'm saving my pennies for one of these dresses.
