Friday Findings: Take a Picture, it'll Last Longer (and Weekly Posh Mama Jewelry Giveaway)

>> Friday, October 24, 2008

"Take a picture, it'll last longer!" Aww c'mon...don't you remember saying that as a kid? Well, kids say the darnedest things sometimes--and, come to think of it, so do most of the adults I know. So, with the holidays coming up faster than Santa can blink an eye, I thought I'd better start showing you some great handmade jewelry gifts. Think of today's post as an online shopping "How-To" for capturing your own personal memories of those extra special people who bring love and laughter into your lives.

This week on Friday Findings, it's time to GET PERSONAL (with your jewelry!). With all of the possibilities that digital photography provides, I'm sure you'll find at least one of the personalized photo pieces in today's collection will not only capture your heart, but also dazzle your eye!

Original Photo Tile Pendants
With You Always

These custom photo tiles are hand crafted by the artist from durable polymer clay. She uses a unique photo transfer process out of one of your photos and also lets you choose a black, white, or sepia-colored tile. Simply send a full-size digital photo to the artist for cropping and editing and a unique, glaze-coated photo pendant will be shipped to you in approximately 7-10 days. Pendants also come in beaded style and are available from http://withyoualways.etsy.com

About This Blog

It first started as a way to share the inspiration behind my beaded jewelry creations with family and friends. Next thing you know, this blog became a hobby on steroids--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But on my little blog here, I write about indie fashion and jewelry (mine and others). And if the kitchen's been good to me...I might even throw in an occasional recipe.
