Thursday Thoughts:

I'm in the Artist's Spotlight at the Torchwood Studio Blog!

Today on Thursday thoughts, I wanted to say thank you to Polymer Clay artist, fellow Etsian, and indie artisan blogger, Todd from Torchwood Studios. Earlier this week, Todd had approached me about doing an interview with him about my jewelry designs, and I am proud to announce that my interview with Todd has been published on his Torchwood Studio blog today. You can read the feature by clicking here.

A neat thing for me (besides being featured) was learning about Todd's unique background. In addition to being a talented polymer clay artist, he also has the challenging job of being a full-time Law Enforcement Officer. Unexpected? Yes, and that is what's cool about creativity. Todd says he's always been one to make handcrafted gifts and that he
began his Polymer Clay crafting making ornaments for family and friends. He's now venturing into taking his creativity to the next level by selling at the online marketplace Etsy, where he creates colorful candleholders, vases, and keepsake holders. You can check out his new shop at: http://torchwoodstudio.etsy.com

Todd will also be publishing regular interviews with independent artists from Etsy on his Torchwood Studios blog, and starting next week will be featuring indie artists offering great giveaways. Thanks again Todd! And, be sure to visit Todd's Torchwood Studios blog today at: http://www.torchwood-studio.typepad.com/

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
