Friday Findings: Circles and Dots
>> Friday, April 18, 2008

This season, dots are hot! And after today’s Friday Findings showcase, you’ll surely be seeing spots. You can always count on circles and dots to be a little retro and very playful—the perfect way to round out your favorite Spring outfit. So come on, be the life of the party wearing one of these dottiest and spottiest picks from indie jewelry sellers at the online marketplace, Etsy.
CIRCLES AND DOTS
Aren't these fun? Just think of all the compliments you'll get wearing these oxidized sterling silver sheets, which have been hand-stamped with a plethora of playful circles and dots. The Circles and Dots Earrings are available from Mary Newton Designs.

YELLOW AND BLUE DOUBLE CIRCLES
Be bold and bright with these fun resin-filled sterling silver earrings which feature a bright egg yolk yellow center surrounded by a ring of dark blue. The Yellow and Blue Double Circle Stud Earrings are available from Treanelli.

ROUND ABACUS PENDANT
Count your blessings wearing this gorgeous lightweight sterling silver Abacus pendant on a 16” slim snake chain with a lobster claw clasp. It’s available in 3 different styles. The Round Abacus Pendant Necklace is available from Danielle Miller Jewelry Design.

URBAN GEOMETRY
Be modern, yet playful with this geometric and versatile look. Gold-filled wire hoops are combined with flat hammered sterling silver chain with a faceted semi-precious black onyx gemstone. The Urban Geometry Earrings were created by Valerie Tyler Designs.

ECO-FRIENDLY LAYERED BLUEBERRY EARRINGS
Made from recycled plastic, these earrings are lightweight, flirty, and funky. The plastic base is sealed with hardened tissue, and the top layer is a translucent light-blue plastic hanging from silver findings. These ECO-Friendly Layered Blueberry Earrings are available from Artwork by KD.

REVERSIBLE BLOCK PENDANT
You’ll be right on target with this reversible bulls-eye pendant necklace. The lamp-worked glass block in lime green is encased in sterling silver and available on a 18” or 16” length chain. The Reversible Block Pendant Necklace in Lime Green are available from Kristin Perkins Glass Jewelry.

PIVOT EARRINGS

Great stuff - I'm seeing spots (and I like what I see)!
Great post theme - those round designs are all delightful. It goes to show artistic interpretation of a theme can be so different.
