Introducing Snap Shots from Snap.com

I just installed a neat tool on the Capitola Girl Blog. It's called Snap Shots and it will enhance your experience on my blog by providing you with visual previews of the destination site. Because I write so many features about independent artists, these interactive excerpts will allow you to view artists MySpace profiles, Social Networking Sites, and Etsy.com products. It will also display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.

Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave my blog, and other times it will let you "look ahead," and decided if you want to follow a link or not.

Should you decide that the new Snap Shots feature that I've installed is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out.

Happy Snapping!

Hey Capitola Girl!

I can't wait for the world to hear your inspiring interview with Girlfriendology on our upcoming podcast - www.girlfriendology.libsyn.com.

Now, sorry to do this to you, but I got tagged and so now I'm tagging you. (Feel free to decline if you'd like.)

If you chose to play, here's how;
1. Link to the tagger.
2. Share 7 random or weird facts about yourself.
3. Tag 7 people, post their names and links to their blogs on your blog.
4. Tell the 7 people you tagged by posting “Tag you’re it” on their blogs in their comments box and explain the rules to them. Nobody is obligated! Just have fun.

Thanks! Rock on Capitola Girl! Debba / Girlfriendology.com

Thanks for this awesome tip! As you know I do write on historical subjects so it might be a good way to link to my resources in a more meaningful way. I'll go check it out.

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
