This Week's Friday Find:
Handmade Bridal Jewelry
At some point in her life, every girl dreams about finding the right person to share her love and life with. When I was little girl, I would pull one of the arm covers off of my parent's sofa, pop it over my head like a veil, and walk slowly down the hallway humming Here Comes the Bride with my dreamboat Andy Gibb (or Shaun Cassidy). And although I'm not engaged now, nor anywhere close to it, I do dream of what my wedding day might really be like (I just no longer imagine it will be with a sofa cover over my head). Lucky for me, there is jewelry.
With the advent of March, the Spring wedding season is officially upon us. And somewhere out there, a blushing bride-to-be is madly searching for some unique and special jewelry to make her day in the spotlight a standout. Getting married is an occasion, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate it that with the uniqueness of handmade jewelry. So, today's Friday Findings is all about that. The pieces showcased today have been made with great love, talent and care, so without further ado...

I have fallen completely in love with the simple and elegant statement made by our next pair earrings. These sweetly modern CASCADING DROPS were designed by Anita of Nina Renee Designs in Detroit, MI. Nina's earrings capture that perfect balance of texture and line and her design features Swarovski crystals, 14k gold-filled findings on Beadalon wire.

Her piece is created from Swarovski crystal and sterling silver, and can be customized using other crystals and finishes. Lovely!

Our next pair of earrings is an incredible design. It features sterling silver filigree flowers and Swarovski crystal drop and was handcrafted by Kristin Friesen of "{sweeter than me} bridal" in Seattle, WA. Her designs are consistently elegant and glamorous, a quality that would make every bride feel absolutely fabulous.
