New Fashion, Design & Lifestyle Street Team on Etsy

Look out! There's a new fashion-forward resource for the latest news, editorials, and style/trend forecasts for Etsy style and design. In March 2008, the fresh and funky Fashion, Design & Lifestyle Street Team was formed to unite trendsetting Etsy sellers who are passionate style, fashion and good taste in every step of their daily life.

With over 40 charter members, this enthusiastic group of trendsetters and tastemakers from the Fashion, Design & Lifestyle Street Team have started to work towards achieving their highest individual potential. Members are actively working and contributing on networking projects together, enhancing their marketing skills, sharing experiences, and satisfying their penchant for what's hot with handmade—discussing everything from the latest fashion- and style-trends, to examining what's influencing design style in urban and cultural life.

The group was founded by Etsy seller, missbubbles, a Southampton-based designer in the UK. Her shop carries street-inspired fashions and urban-inspired cards, diaries and notebooks.

Want to join the trendsetters and tastemakers on Etsy? If you're interested in becoming a member of the Fashion, Design & Lifestyle Street Team, send a convo to the group founder via her Etsy shop at: http://missbubbles.etsy.com

Designers should define their role broadly as agents of good in the world, and limit their work to 'legitimate' products: those that are needed, and those that can be made without damage to nature

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
