Now this is Fork-N-Awesome!

A Very Special Welcome from Capitola Girl to the 100th Member of Saturday Sparkle:

Kelly from Rural Abandon Jewelry

As the founding member of the HANDMADE JEWELRY: SATURDAY SPARKLE group on Flickr, I've been looking forward to the day when I could say the group was 100 members strong.
I'm absolutely ecstatic to report that the group has reached that milestone today!

As a special treat, I'd like to personally introduce you to our 100th Saturday Sparkle group member. Her name is Kelly and she comes to us from the Heartland. She runs an online jewelry shop on the online marketplace, Etsy called Rural Abandon jewelry. I'm actually no stranger to Kelly's talents, as I've admired her high-quality work and quirky-cute jewelry designs that I've seen in her shop several times before, and long before she decided to join the group.

One of my favorites items is her sterling silver Little Men Fighting on My Finger ring. Another is the pendant that I've posted for you today called Fork-N-Awesome. Kelly, I think your pendant is awesome, and I also think its fork-n-awesome to have the opportunity to welcome (and say thanks) for becoming the 100th member of Saturday Sparkle! To see more of Kelly's quirky-cute handcrafted jewelry, please visit her shop today at:

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
