Make Me Monday:

Check Out this Cool Vintage Pendant!

Since today is a holiday, the Capitola Girls and I got up not-too-early and headed down the the local waterfront for a hearty breakfast.

On the way home, one of our neighbors (who I love to refer to as our local "junque" collector) was having a humongous Yard Sale. There were boxes everywhere, and some of the boxes were filled with vintage jewelry and pendants. So, here is one of my purchases. Its a vintage painted copper pendant that needs a little love.

Since its Make Me Monday here at Capitola Girl's house, I'm going to clean up this sweet pendant and make some kind of crazy-cool necklace with it. I'll post pictures after I figure out what I'm going to do. In the meantime, hope you all enjoy your three-day weekend.

Happy Monday!

Did you make anything cool with a vintage jewelry find this weekend? If so, leave comment and tell us all about it!

Hello! I just wanted to say your jewelry is great and your blog creates a nice sense of community and sharing! I really enjoy your upbeat comments and enthusiasm. I have some bead issues myself!

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
