This Week on Friday Findings:

The Things We Jewel for Love ~ Part II

Today on Friday Findings is another special Valentine's Showcase. Last week, we left off showing you the symbol that stands at the center of this romantic month and talked about true romance and the giving of the heart.

This week, I got sentimental and drippy while thinking about all the various ways and reasons that we share and give our love, so I'll be taking you on another loving stroll down the independent jewelry aisle. Let's get going and hang on as we take another look at "The Things We Jewel for Love" -- with a special the focus on the heart.

HEARTS OF LOVE
When we ponder love, the first thing we often think about is romance. And, what could be more romantic that receiving this RED VALENTINE necklace? The siam-colored Swarovski crystal pendant was made by Shirley’s Crystals. The piece features gold-wire inlay and hangs from gold-filled chain. The entire ensemble was brought to us by Precious Links, who can be found on the web at http://www.preciouslinks.net/ and on Etsy at: http://preciouslinks.etsy.com/

HEARTS OF PASSION
Sometimes, love runs deep. And could there be a more expressive way to declare your passion for someone than this JEALOUS HEART necklace? This piece features emerald chips, smoky quartz rondelles, crystals and a jade pendant and was created by Ileana Bonilla of Ileana's Designs Jewelry. And, don't get too jealous when you find out this item has sold, Ileana has the materials to make something similar. To contact Ileana about a similar piece, visit her on My Space http://www.myspace.com/ileanasdesigns or convo her on Etsy at: http://www.ileana.etsy.com/

HEARTS OF FAMILY
The bonds between family are binding, clear and true. And, there couldn't have been a more perfect way to showcase family than this SWAROVSKI HEART necklace. It comes to us from two sisters, May and Samantha Tien at Trendy Girl Collection in Malaysia. The crystal-AB Swarovski pendant is made of Mounted Xilion Chantons, with more crystals and premium seed beads on a 16” sterling silver chain. You can show your love for these trendy siblings at their shop http://trendygirlcollection.etsy.com/ and blog: http://www.indiepublic.com/profile/TrendyGirlCollection

DREAMS OF THE HEART
The dreams of childhood are precious and close to our hearts, and what better reminder of those dreams than this SWEET DREAMS BABY pendant? The pendant is crafted from fine silver Precious Metal Clay and features an amethyst cubic zirconia heart on silk ribbon. It comes to us from Sue Lawrence-Nester at Elements Jewelry. Visit Sue online at her blog http://www.elementsjewelry.blogspot.com/, website http://www.elementsjewelry.boundlessgallery.com/, and shop http://elementsjewelry.etsy.com/

HEARTS OF CUTENESS
OK, sometimes we love things for the simplest of reasons, and often because its just plain cute. I loved this crocheted LOVE NEST ring from Michelle Arthur of smallwhitepebble. Her crocheted ring is crafted from vintage cotton thread and features a single bright red recycled heart bead. Too cute! To see her other items of cuteness, visit Michelle’s shop on Etsy at: http://smallwhitepebble.etsy.com/

HEARTS OF GOLD
Many strive to have one, but few pass the test. That's why when we meet someone who has a heart of gold, we tell them so. What better way to flatter your friend with a heart of gold than with this GOLDEN HEART PEARL necklace? It features glass pearls, bicones, and a large 4cm Golden Lampwork Heart pendant on sterling silver findings. It comes to us from Gemma Wild of Perlina Handmade Jewellery. Perlina’s blogs at www.perlina.co.uk/blog, and also has her Website at http://www.perlina.co.uk/

Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, remember that you only have a few days left to shop! So, hurry up and pay a visit to one of the designers from both today's and last week's showcases.

Tomorrow, I'll be showing you some super talent for Saturday Sparkle. And, don't miss Friday Finding's next week. It's going to be a great spin around the bead bobbin with our very first beadweaving showcase!
