Where in the World:
Barcelona, Spain
One of my favorite places to have visited was Barcelona, Spain. I like to pronounce it, "Barthelona." The reason I like it so much is because of the historical importance and contributions made by architect, Antonio Gaudi. Instead of giving you my usual, long-winded history about him, you
can quickly read about him over on Wikipedia. Here are some of the highlight photos from my trip three years ago.

Casa Mila
If you have a chance, visit the bimorphic masterpiece of Casa Mila. It seriously takes only a few minutes, and its an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Parc Guell
If you can't go anywhere else, you must see Parc Guell. Words and pictures really can't describe how awesome it is. You just have to see it. Mosaics, residences, and amazing works of constructed beauty.

Sagrada Familia
This is Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece, where construction is still in progress. He spent much of his life doing anything and everything one could think of trying to perfect it. It's wonderful, and filled with visual surprises everywhere. OK, that's another place that I'd call a must see.
Anyways, back in Capitola, I used the inspirations from my trip to Barcelona when making these Lampwork bubble earrings.
So, needless I call them my BARCELONA Earrings
And they were inspired by all of the things I saw while spending a day looking at things from one of my favorite architects, Antonio Gaudi. I'll be uploading these to Etsy later today.
