Don't Take Me Away Tuesday: I'm So Excited About Jewelry!

I just logged into my HANDMADE JEWELRY: SATURDAY SPARKLE group on Flickr, and I'm so happy and stoked to see that the group has grown to 57 members in just 21 days! Thanks to everyone who has joined so far. I am soooo looking forward to using the pool as starting point for selecting artists for future features on my blog!

A couple things to look forward to in the coming days on the Capitola Girl blog:

• A Valentine's showcase on this week's Friday Findings. This really came together and I can't wait to show you what some talented indie jewelry designers are doing this Valentine's Day.
• For the first week of February, I'm naming the first Tuesday of the month Talent Tuesday. To kick it off, I will be featuring a quilt artist who turned her love for quilting into jewelry.

Also wanted to share that this has been a great week for me and jewelry personally. I have a project published on the MyGizmo website, as well as new items on my Etsy shop (And, I made my first sale on Etsy this week! Hooray!).

I gotta go, so will cut things short for now.

I think its time for Capitola Girl to celebrate!
