What happens in Capitola...
Well, the Capitola Girl and Mommie Made it showcase was an amazing success. We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the day, because we sure did. It was a fun afternoon of shopping, as well as many, many yummy nibbles and sloshy sips!
And... speaking of party girls... the new owner of this necklace is a hoot! This is a special order item from Capitola Girl that is now on flying on the mail plane to a new home in Colorado. Capitola Girl didn't do many special orders in the past, but after the past two weeks of necklace making, she's learning fast.
This necklace is made of blue and purple miracle beads, with black, silver and gold accents that exactly match this amazign murano foil glass pendant. The coordinating earrings are on silver bead hoops with leverback earrings. Very dangly for a Bostoner turned Colorado girl!
If you like this necklace, check out a similar design made last month, for another former Capitola Girl: http://www.capitolagirl.com/2007/10/rainy-days-and-wednesdays.html

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
