The "Warm Stone" Bachelorette Bracelet:

Can a large group of Type-A Capitola Girls find a way to relax, rejuvenate, and have a cackle-fest in just a single day?

Well, if you're one of Capitola Girl's friends, the answer is a no brainer. Type-A or not, its absolutely, categorically and hands-down...no duhhh...YEESS! I mean... if we can hike Half Dome, we can do anything!

Today is an exciting day for a handful of the current and former cottage girls, as one of our nearest and dearest readies herself for her wedding next week. And, although our blushing bride wanted to keep things low-key and mellow, with the Capitola Girls as her friends, a down-tempo event would just simply be too IMPOSSIBLE! While we may not be busting out the fire pit (but hey, the day is young, so who knows?), we will be relaxing it up at Day Spa Bachelorette Party. There will be warm, fuzzy robes, relaxing facials and massages, followed by drinks, drinks, and knowing the cottage (and former cottage) gals, probably a few more drinks.

As a way to say congratulations to our future bride, Capitola Girl crafted this bracelet and earring set for her on her special day. Its made of "warm" jasper stones (very relaxing), freshwater pearls (very pretty), and white glass pearls (very bridal). We wish both our former cottage people the best of luck as they venture down their new path...

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
