An Endless Spiral
Somedays, things get so busy before the holidays that it feels like Capitola Girl is traveling through the day on an endless spiral. Work suddenly picks up with projects needing to be completed before the holidays, friends start popping by, parties need to be planned...At the end of the day, all the excitement makes Capitola Girl feel pretty crazy, because she has so many things to do besides beading. But instead of getting dizzy, Capitola Girl reminds herself at the end of the day she can craft a necklace that imitates and relaxes her day. This spiral is a choker length necklace created from lapis and pearls. Lapis is a rock, not a mineral and it was used during the Middle Ages as symbol that protected from error and fear. Happy Thursday!

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
