Somehow, in our progressive society, we’ve all managed to convince ourselves that we need to be busy. And, if we don’t work all day and earn, earn, earn, we start believing that we are somehow failing ourselves and the people that we love. Capitola Girl thinks that malarkey.

If you don’t have enough time to communicate with the people that you choose to spend your life with, there’s something seriously wrong. Time and communication are gifts that you give freely to the people that you love.

If you find yourself in a place where you aren't putting the people you love ahead of your own needs or your job, something is seriously screwed up, missing, or going on. If you're looking for ways to improve the relationships in your life, you don't need a lot of time. A phone call to say “I’m thinking about you” takes five minutes. A weekly dinner date…a couple of hours…max. There are a lot of ways to address communication issues, and they don't require much sacrifice.

This bracelet and earring set was created by Capitola Girl out of freshwater pearls, glass pearls, and jasper as a reminder that love is revealed in all of the little details that add up. It took only ten minutes to string this bracelet, and yet to the person that is receiving it, it represents a lifetime of love.
