The Three Graces

In ancient Greece, the Three Graces were the daughters of Zeus. And, each daughter represented a different heavenly attribute, referring to the Three Charities of Joy, Beauty, and Truth. Everyone wants to find their purpose in life, as well as to hold onto hope. And since Capitola Girl gets Joy out of making Beautiful jewelry that is inspired by her Truth, she crafted her Three Graces bracelet and earring sets as a little reminder that the future is always filled with hope.

The Joy of Pink bracelet on the left features pink lampwork beads with ethereal white swirls. The Beauty of Purple bracelet in the middle features purple argyle pattern and antique glass pearls. The Search for Truth bracelet features calming green and blue glass beads and blue gemstones. The cameo on the top is the inspiration for each one of the pieces. Capitola Girl has a motto, "Always live to your truth" and if you do that you'll always have joy and you'll never find yourself without a little hope.

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
