Rainy Days and Wednesdays Always Get Me Down...
After a San Diego-like summer in Capitola, CA., it feels as though winter has officially arrived in Santa Cruz County. It's the very first wet October day, and the sky tears have been pouring down for about six hours. Capitola Girl dreams of staying in, beading, and drinking hot chocolate all day....But, alas ... as with others, Capitola Girl, too, must work.
Praying for the miracle of sunshine to return, Capitola Girl takes solace in this wintery weather by showing off this multi-strand necklace with teardrop shaped pendant. The pendant is Murano Foil Glass, and features light clouds of blue, purple, and gold. One side of the necklace strand features purple fiber optic and purple miracle beads with blue seedbeads. And, on the flip side, two strands of assorted blue, gold, and purple seed and miracle beads. Capitola Girl's mood is improving already, and as she looks out her window, she sees the sun starting to come out! Ah... the miracle of beading!
Still need more sun? Check out the Sunshine Days necklace.

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
