Costume Jewelry: The Jackie Necklace

Happy Halloween Ghouls and Goblins!

Every year, Capitola Girl ends up dressing up as some sort of female figure. In years past, she's dressed up as Janis Joplin, Cleopatra, The Queen of Hearts, Medusa, Pocahontas, a Geisha, a Disco Queen, and a Mermaid. But this year, she's picked someone who is certainly destined to be more stylish.

This Jackie Kennedy necklace is made of pearls and pink glass, which matches Capitola Girl's pink dress, black wig, and pink pillbox hat perfectly! The only thing missing from this Jackie costume is a John Junior accessory to escort her to the Halloween festivities tonight. But oh well, at least Capitola Girl will not be left lamenting her lack of jewelry!

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
