Capitola by the Sea

If you have never heard of it, Capitola is a sleepy and quaint seaside town on the Monterey Bay. It's a small place. Everyone knows each other, and daily life is easy, simple and pleasing. Capitola Girl wants you to know, "If you don't visit someday, you are really missing out!"

Because she loves her town so much, Capitola Girl made this beautiful necklace and earring set to show her love. The Capitola-by-the-Sea necklace mixes colorful recycled paper beads from Bead for Life, with bold lime chalk turqouise, green adventurine and chysoproase. It is an Opera Length necklace--approximately 28 inches in length. Simply perfect for a short stroll along the shore, or perhaps even a little seaside romance!

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
