Cantaloupe Necklace
Capitola Girl needed a little cheering up the other day, so to put a smile on her face, she made this sunny choker length necklace out of lime green chalk turquoise squares and orange coral coins. For interest, she added three yellow lampwork (manufactured) glass beads, and varying shapes and sizes of seed beads. When she was finished, Capitola Girl thought it looked like a delicious fruit salad, which is how this necklace got its name.

About This Blog

This blog first started as a way to share the inspiration behind jewelry making with family and friends. Next thing you know, my blogging became a hobby--complete with a logo!

In my not-so-virtual-reality, I'm a freelance technical and marketing communications consultant who spends her time doing geeky things in the high-tech industry. But my real fun comes from making jewelry, which you can find in my Etsy shop at: http://capitolagirl.etsy.com
